GridRank guide

How the leaderboard works

Everything you need to follow the pool and understand each number.

Every week is worth 136 points.

The confidence values 1 through 16 total 136. When the pool sheet marks b15 and b16 as byes, every participant automatically receives those 31 points. The 14 played games then account for the remaining 105 points.

Leaderboard views

This week shows points confirmed by completed games, including automatic bye points. Season adds confirmed current-week points to the imported year-to-date total. Live projection adds points from teams currently leading, so it can change during a game.

Confirmed, projected, and possible

Confirmed cannot be taken away because the game is final. Projected assumes each team currently leading will win. Possible is the participant's highest remaining total if every pending selection wins.

Game ribbon and colors

Charcoal tiles are scheduled, green tiles are live, and blue tiles are final. Select any game to see its pool-wide pick split, confidence-point exposure, and potential leaderboard swing in Pool Pulse.

Rank movement

The Move column compares the current position with the prior scoring checkpoint. An upward marker means the participant climbed; a downward marker means other entries passed them.

Live score updates

GridRank checks API-Sports at most once every two minutes around active NFL games. The stopwatch shows how long it has been since the last successful score update. Everyone sees the same shared result, and participant devices do not make separate provider requests.

Commissioner controls

Weekly picks report replaces the active card after validating every selection. Year-to-date totals updates the season baseline. Manual score override corrects a delayed feed. Check API-Sports now forces an immediate synchronization.

Installing GridRank

When the install button appears in the top bar, select it to add GridRank to the device like an app. The live leaderboard still requires an internet connection for fresh scores.
